Jiaxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone originated as Jiaxing Export Processing Zone, approved by the State Council in 2003 year 3. It was integrated and optimized into Jiaxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone in 2015 year 1, and officially commenced operations in 2016 year 12. The zone features diverse functions, preferential policies, mature supporting facilities, and streamlined customs clearance through port-zone integration. At the time of approval for Jiaxing Export Processing Zone, Xi Jinping, then Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, issued an important directive: "Jiaxing Export Processing Zone has been approved; ensure high-quality construction and operation, and leverage this 'golden brand' to deliver outstanding results." This guidance continues to inspire every generation of zone personnel to move forward with determination and resilience.
